Last week, our students presented Individual Learning Projects all about diseases to friends, family, and supporters of the school. As always, we learned so much and had a wonderful afternoon.

Individual Learning Projects: Historical Events
At the end of the school year, our students presented their second semester Individual Learning Projects (ILPs) and showed off their new knowledge of historical events of the past 100 years.

2018 Graduation!
We had a great time celebrating our 2018 graduates on June 5th! We graduated four outstanding seniors this spring and one last semester, and we are so excited to see where the Lord will take them in the future.

Meet Michele Murphy, the Assistant to the Executive Director at New Community Academy. She helps keep the daily operation of the school running smoothly, provides a listening ear to students, and—best of all—always has candy to share!
Operation Christmas Child
New Community Academy helped organize shoeboxes filled with supplies for children in need at the Operation Christmas Child headquarters before Christmas.

Drama Class as ILP Practice
The students are taking drama classes 3 times a week for a month to prepare them for public speaking during their Individual Learning Projects in December.
