At the close of each school semester, the students of New Community Academy get the opportunity to show their progress in learning, research, and public speaking by presenting an Individual Learning Project (ILP) to an audience. Our students showcase a broad variety of topics, ranging from cell formation to becoming a barber to photography. . . and beyond. We have had so much fun over the years learning about the students’ interests and hearing first-hand about their research on these topics. We all leave having learned something new! This end-of-semester ILP presentation night was no exception. Our students were again on their best form and made the afternoon and evening a fun learning experience for everyone involved.
Below is a small gallery of some of the student presentations from that night.
